Taken from nearly the same place as the rainbow photo we can see here the total disregard with which private buildings go up on the beach - in this case directly on top of the 5000 year old necropolis.

Martenizi in front of the Alexander Nevski Cathedrale

This photo I took on end of March 2008 at the Alexander Nevski Cathedrale.
The colours of the Martenizi match with the blue sky and the golden roof of the church as well as the blossoms on the tree!

It was not easy to find our way to Zapareva Banja. So we were quite relieved when we finally found this sign. The four-feet colleague seemed to be on the same way but still found it hard to grasp the content of this sign.

November fog at the Vitosha Mountain

The photo was taken on a trip to the Golden Bridges on Vitosha. All Sofia was covered with fog and also on the way to the mountain top, but there you could see finally the sun.
